In 1983, while enjoying time out with God in prayer and fasting and searching the Scripture, the Lord spoke to me, ‘I will, through this ministry, raise the foundations of many other ministries’.
Today, the Word of Faith Bible Institute (WOFBI), which began on 1st September 1986 in Kaduna, has training centres across several nations of the world to the glory of God!
So, WOFBI is not set out to train only ministers of the gospel but every member of the body of Christ who desires to fulfil God’s purpose for his/her life and secure eternity at the end of his/her days.
WOFBI is set out to offer believers access to the covenant fundamentals for triumphant Christian living while at the same time pointing them to the requirements and realities of eternity with Christ.
TThis is why WOFBI is a Training Institute and not a regular school. It is:

A biblical training platform for impactful living
A platform for showing students which way to go and not just telling them where to go – Act. 20:28
